VIDEO: LEARN HOW TO USE TRUE STEREO PANNING IN LOGIC PRO X 10.3

Take advantage of the new true stereo panning feature in Logic Pro X 10.3 with this video tutorial from Mac Pro Video

Logic Pro X 10.3 ships with many great new features. Some are obvious and game changing such as the Track Alternatives, but others are subtle and although seemingly uninspiring, can make all the difference to your mix. One of these small changes comes in the form of a true stereo pan feature.
Until now Logic Pro users had one of two options for control of their stereo audio tracks in the stereo field. The first saw the pan fader on a channel strip act not as a true pan but a balance control, effectively turning down the signal of either the left or right channel as the fader moves in the opposite direction. The second required the use of a stock plugin called the Direction Mixer which is in itself a powerful tool and enables true pan of the stereo signal but not quite as simple as a single fader control to shift the true stereo field of a recording.
In the video below from MacProVideo you can see how to implement this small but powerful feature in your Logic Pro X 10.3 sessions. You can see more from MacProVideo on their youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ6X38JlApQpUGMppUaNRUQ
